The team would like to welcome a Shipping and Receiving Clerk to help us provide exceptional service to our customers.
Your mission
Under the supervision of the President, you will be responsible for the efficient management of the flow of goods, including receiving, checking, storage and shipping.
Main responsibilities
Shipping and receiving:
- Receive, verify and record incoming merchandise.
- Prepare customer orders and coordinate shipments with carriers.
- Maintain accurate inventory tracking (incoming and outgoing).
Warehouse management:
- Organize and optimize merchandise storage.
- Ensure cleanliness and order in the warehouse.
- Locate and identify products.
- Carry out periodic inventories and participate in annual stock-taking.
Health and safety representative (SST):
- Be vigilant and exemplary in respecting safety protocols.
- Participate in the identification of risks in the warehouse and propose corrective measures.
- Lead awareness-raising sessions on good OHS practices with colleagues.
- Ensure the application of safety protocols and carry out regular inspections.
- Act as liaison between the team and management on OHS issues.
Continuous improvement:
- Propose initiatives to improve the efficiency of logistics processes.
- Contribute to company projects related to shipping, receiving, or inventory management.
Related duties :
- Interior and exterior maintenance of facilities.
Profile required
- - High school diploma.
- Experience in a similar role and in inventory management.
- Good physical condition to handle moderate loads up to 30 kg.
- Intermediate computer skills.
- Forklift operator course mandatory.
