Technical advisor

Main responsibilities / tasks:

  • Provide service and respond to customer requests
  • Advise customers in relation to repairs to be carried out and offer maintenance recommended by manufacturers
  • Evaluate repairs and / or maintenance to be done
  • Submit work estimates and obtain authorization for the work
  • Respond to various customer requests (appointment request, technical advice, etc.)
  • Take phone calls from the service department
  • Ensure eligibility for guarantees and inform the client
  • Follow up on warranty claims with the purchasing department
  • Make additional sales
  • Take charge of purchase orders following repairs
  • Follow up on the progress of work with customers
  • Open and close repair orders
  • Perform all the necessary follow-ups to ensure optimal operation
  • Manage the maintenance schedule and mechanical repairs
  • Prepare and organize the technicians' daily schedule in order to maximize their work
  • Lead the team of technical workshop employees
  • Ensure customer satisfaction with regard to after-sales service

Scholarship:

  • DEP in technical advisor or equivalent
  • DEC in administration would be an asset
  • Mechanical and electronic knowledge

Others:

  • This is a permanent position of 40 hours per week (Monday to Thursday from 7:30 am to 5:00 pm and Friday from 7:30 am to noon)
  • Partial teleworking possible
