Purchasing clerk

We are currently looking for a candidate for the position of purchasing clerk who will have the opportunity to grow with us in a captivating and dynamic environment. We are a company that has been working in the field of industrial marking and coding for over 40 years now


  • Provide clerical support to the team responsible for supply and inventory
  • Prepare orders and ensure follow-ups and respect of deadlines
  • Ensure follow-ups with suppliers (Quebec, Western Canada, American, etc.)
  • Transmit non-conformities to suppliers, return goods
  • Transmit and update all documents for importing products
  • Make reservations for carriers and ensure follow-ups and respect of deadlines
  • Ensure the verification of receipt of goods to purchase orders and invoicing and approve purchase invoices
  • Keep purchasing records, purchase orders, documentation and other files up to date
  • Perform data entry 
  • Update various reports and perform virtual classification
  • Collaborate on the follow-up of customer orders
  • Update of supplier price lists in Acomba, CRM and price lists for representant
  • Responsible for creating new products as well as modifying products in systems
  • Management of cyclical inventory, Verification of quantities, half-yearly and end-of-year inventory
  • Monitoring of stock rotation and collaboration for promotions with the sales department
  • Perform all other tasks and responsibilities that may be requested by his immediate superior
  • Respect the rules and procedures of the company

  • Hold a vocational or college diploma in a field related to employment;
  • Bilingualism; French and English (oral and written)
  • Dynamic and proud of a job well done.
  • Integrity, professionalism, motivation
  • Sense of organization, rigorous and demonstrating autonomy
  • Have experience in the field
  • Knowledge of essential computers (Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, etc.)
  • Knowledge of "Acomba" software and Zoho CRM would be an asset
  • Enjoy versatility at work and work in a team.


  • This is a 20 to 25 hour shift per week
  • Possibility of schedule flexibility
  • Partial teleworking possible
